This past August, ten students took a trip up to the White Mountains of New Hampshire with our natural resources teacher, Mr. Brittain, and his wife. They spent three days going to different parts of Franconia Notch and learning new things about the environment. The first day they went to Cannon Mountain to take an aerial tram up the mountain and walk a pathway at the top. The second day they all took the cog up Mt. Washington and hiked all 6 miles down the mountain in some pretty harsh weather. They faced a lot of rain and heavy winds causing for a cold trek, but surely a memorable experience. On the final day, they went to the Flume Gorge of New Hampshire and walked the boardwalk through the flume. Overall, everyone had a great experience and made some amazing memories!
