District Social - Fall 2018

On Thursday, 27 September 2018, the Wamogo, Nonnewaug, Housatonic and Northwestern FFA Chapters met at Housatonic Valley Regional High School on Thursday, September 27th for our District Social. This year, District Social focused on giving back to the community. 40 students from the Wamogo FFA Chapter attended the social and worked with other students from the other schools to package Meals of Hope. All 4 chapters worked as a team to package 15,936 meals which were then distributed to Connecticut Food Banks. It was great to bond with the other chapters, working as a team to package meals and to also have some fun playing games and hanging out with the other FFA Chapters. Overall, it was a great event, and all of the students were eager to give back to their community.
